Re: Wellingborough Lakes 2010
just like to point out the bit in carptalk of the tackle stolen from wellingborough was from someones garage and not from any of the lakes around the wellingborough area'
the mill is fully ice free gareth and rich are giving it ago' the heron is 70% is free while the island lake is ice free only nicky on there'
great news today i have the go ahead to put up a lower car barrier under the height barrier next to the marriott hotel at the delapre lake'
the hotel has agreed to open and close the barrier each day they will be opening it around 8am then closing it around 7pm this means the fishermans cars left in the car park over night should be safe as the barrier will prevent any of the boy racers/smokers/doggers coming down the 200m track' FANTASTIC'
its took me 10 months to sort this out with the council parks department/hotel etc
keys will be available to the waterskiers and fisherman at a minimul cost'
after checking on the stock ponds this last few days luckily only one 2lb mirror has passed away i was starting to get worried with the prelonged ice'
