lad on the island had a 12lber today, on sat a fella had a 16 on the mill, the week before a fella had two doubles out the herons fridge to 19lb, there was the 15 out the middles to mr castle, bens 12lber from the island, ians oups james 34, daves two to 20 out the boat swim, ians 20 com out the boat swim and about two dropped on the mill and four from the heron all over the last couple of weeks so things are starting to wake up
i bumped into a group of seven big fish in the mill yesterday while moving materials across the lake in the boat all sat two feet down motionless taking in the warmers upper layers'
the weather is cock on for next week 9-13 oC westerly southwesterly winds just what the doctor ordered to getting them moving looking for some grub'
one or two big lumps will be caught over the next few weeks as they say youve got to be in it to win it

please also remember not everyone wants to tell the rest of you what there catching and from where so they can get the swim back on there next visit and to get the best out of there pre baiting, some reports to me stay off the web/text/phone etc as some of the more successfull anglers ask for discretion rather than glory'
2009 interresting on the secret squirrel list
one fella had a 40.04 mirror and the big common out the mill at 38.14lb in one night
one fella had the elusive common out the heron at 38lb with rudder at 37lb one night
an 11.8lb tench from the mill in july, 8.02lb chub from the heron and the big pike came out the heron two/three weeks ago at 28lb'
amongst a hand full of nice captures on the QT'
after the ice finally melted i found two dead bream on the mill washed up one 14lb ish the other 15-16lb and i found one dead carp on the heron lake a common about 25lb near to the stream inlet'
its good to keep some mystery as to whats happening on the lakes other wise its all to boring everyone knowing who when what how time bait swim etc' work at your fishing make your own lake contacts for inside info lets see if you have what it takes' plenty can talk the talk only a handfull can walk the walk'
ive got a feeling some lucky sods going to catch a 40 sometime soon

I didn't want to upset people at the time being new on the lake and all that but yes its out the bag i'm the sqirrel i had all the big girls twice sometimes three times a week they were crawing up my lines, Thanks for keeping the lid on things Chris.

just a shame i was tucked up in my slepping bag in never neverland at the time
