funny one this'
a fella from north yorkshire bought a winter ticket for the lakes and was too busy to fish in dec' and was looking forward to fishing over the christmas holidays then it froze over untill tue just gone'
he text me wed to say he was coming down for the first time thur morning so he put the post code in and zoomed down the motorway'
i said i would meet him to show him the two sites' at lunch time i got a call of him to say he was at the syston leicester address and there wasnt any lakes in sight Rolling Eyes
i explained the lakes were at wellingborough in northants about 35 miles away Smile
so i directed him down the motorway an hour later he rolled up still laughing at the mistake''
after a quick look at the three lakes he decided to fish the small island lake'
i was pleasently surprised to get a call from him all excited because he had just landed a 25lb dark leathery mirror'' cheers
a big well done to the fella on his first trip rich wells off the heron lake weighed and photographed it for him''
as there was still ice on bits of the heron lake yesterday i think he's had a result Very Happy
